A quick review of the two largest job boards, (Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com) show that despite all of the recent job losses within the state there are still a great deal of job openings as well. In fact, in Indianapolis alone there are currently 2,492 jobs listed on CareerBuilder.com, while on Monster there are 1,649.

If you also factor in that many companies have turned from fee based job postings on paid job boards to more social media networking & free distribution, this number grows exponentially.... Just a quick word of encouragement for all of the great Hoosiers who have unexpectedly found themselves in the rising count of the recently unemployed... Good luck to all of you!!
