The Fishers Police Department is investigating a series of burglaries that have occurred in the Town of Fishers.

Covington Estates – 96th and Lantern Road

Windermere – 96th and Mollenkopf Road

Case Information
Most of these burglaries have occurred during the day when no one was home. The suspect(s) make forced entry through rear or side doors. On one occasion they entered through an open window. The suspect(s) are taking TV’s and other electronic devices as well as jewelry, etc. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is also investigating an attempted home invasion that occurred along 106th Street while the resident was home.
The Fishers Police Department is working with all surrounding law enforcement agencies to identify the suspects. Patrol officers and investigators are saturating the area during the day with marked and unmarked patrols.
Suspect Information
Witnesses have reported seeing at least two men during the burglaries. One person stays in the car while the other suspect breaks into the home. The only description we currently have is a six foot tall male wearing a brown jacket. Another report indicated that he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The car is described as a white Dodge passenger car.
Crime Prevention – Reporting Suspicious Activity
Suspicious activity is an event taking place that is out of the ordinary. It is something that could lead to a crime or be a crime in progress.
If you see someone walking casually through the neighborhood looking into windows, backyards, vehicles, etc.
If you see someone walking around the backside of a residence.
Unusual dog barking.
Any vehicle driving slowly through your neighborhood.
An unknown car parked by or near your home.
Someone that appears to be soliciting door to door.
